Common side effects include mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. Rarely, lumps, infection, or allergic reactions may occur. Always discuss potential risks with your provider.
Juvederm products are infused with lidocaine to minimize discomfort during the procedure. A numbing cream may also be applied to the treatment area for additional comfort.
